CAMBRE

Juan José Cambre

15.10.24 - 14.12.24

However, the work—the work of art, the literary work—is neither finished nor unfinished: it is. The only thing it states is that: that it is. And nothing more. Outside of that, it is nothing. Whoever wishes to make it express something more finds nothing; they find that it expresses nothing. Whoever lives depending on the work, whether writing it or reading it, belongs to the solitude of that which only expresses the word "to be": a word that language protects by disguising it, or which it makes appear by disappearing into the silent void of the work.

Maurice Blanchot in El espacio Literario

But books are only occasions for poetry.

Jorge Luis Borges
